Duty Manager - RiversMeet Performance

Full Time: 37.5 hrs per week average
Rate of Pay: £26,793 per annum
Early/Late/Weekends: 4 week rolling rota (1 weekend in 4)

About Us

We are a busy, committed, fun loving, professional team dedicated to ensuring that our customers enjoy the very best experience from this community owned, Leisure Centre. As part of our DM Team, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of activities and ensuring the safe facilitation of a multitude of activities ranging from fitness classes to swimming lessons.

About you 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional person with good customer service skills who really enjoys being part of a team but are also comfortable working independently. Can make good customer care decisions, actively lead from the front and take ownership of this important role with confidence.

Essential: 2+ years’ experience in the Leisure industry

Desirable: Level 2 Fitness instructor, First Aid at Work, 3+ years’ Leisure industry experience, Level 3 management qualification

Salary up to £26,793 according to experience and qualifications based on an average of 37.5 weekly. Overtime hours paid at hourly rate in addition. Recreation Assistant/Apprenticeship

Full Time: 37.5 hrs per week average

As part of our Recreation Team, you will aid the effort in maintaining the highest levels of health and safety and cleanliness across wet and dry activities. Lifeguarding and managing time critical set ups and de-rigs.

About you

Essential: NPLQ – Desirable, training will be fully funded for the right candidate.

During  the interview a swim test will be carried out. Every candidate attending a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) course must be able to:

  • Jump/dive into deep water
  • Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds
  • Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back
  • In deep water, tread water for 30 seconds
  • Surface dive to the floor of the pool
  • Climb out unaided without ladder/steps and where the pool design permits

Gymnastics Coach (Maternity Cover)

RiversMeet Gymnastics is seeking a motivated and reliable Gymnastics Coach to join our coaching team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. This role is ideal for a coach who is passionate about developing gymnasts in a positive, safe, and engaging environment.

Contract Details

  • Contract type: Fixed term – 12 months (maternity cover)
  • Hours: 13 hours per week, additional admin hours available 
  • Salary: £17.79 – £23.76 per hour coaching (dependent on experience and qualifications)
  • Start date: To be confirmed

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality gymnastics coaching sessions in line with club programmes
  • Plan and prepare safe, engaging, and age-appropriate sessions
  • Support the development of gymnasts across recreational and/or squad pathways
  • Attend competitions with gymnasts to provide coaching, guidance, and support
  • Maintain high standards of safety and safeguarding at all times
  • Communicate effectively with gymnasts, parents, and fellow coaches
  • Represent RiversMeet Gymnastics in a professional and positive manner

Essential Requirements

  • British Gymnastics Level 1 qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience coaching gymnastics to children and/or young people
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and professional approach to coaching
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and welfare

Desirable Requirements

  • British Gymnastics Level 2 qualification
  • Previous experience working within a club environment
